Tanishk Bagchi

Tanishk Bagchi, often dubbed the 'Remix King' of Bollywood for his masterful reworking of vintage tunes for the modern generation, is a trailblazing music composer and singer who rose to fame with his chart-topping recreations of the 90’s classic songs. His first recreation, A.R.Rahman’s ‘Humma Humma’ for the movie ‘OK Jannu’ (2017) was a chartbuster garnering 355 million views on YouTube, and there has been no looking back since. Bringing the old classics with a peppy twist, Tanishk has been ever since dropping hits such as ‘Tamma Tamma Again’ from ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’,  ‘Masakali 2.0’, ‘O Saki Saki’, ‘Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi’ and the list continues. 

Not just a remake pro, Tanishk has had several original compositions as a singer, lyricist, and composer, under his belt, including the chart-toppers ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, ‘Banno’ from ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’ (2015), ‘Bolna’ from ‘Kapoor & Sons’ (2016), ‘Baarish’ from ‘Half Girlfriend’ (2017), ‘Sweety Tera Drama’ and the list goes on. 

Before venturing into film music, Tanishk honed his skills by producing and arranging music for various TV shows. His Bollywood debut as a music producer came with the song ‘Meherbani’ from the movie ‘The Shaukeens’. 

In 2019, Tanishk's notable projects included ‘Fraud Saiyaan’, ‘De De Pyaar De’, ‘Jabariya Jodi’, ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’, and ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’. 

Tanishk's musical journey began in Kolkata, where he completed his schooling and started working on Bengali songs. He released his first album, ‘City Life in Kolkata’, in 2007, followed by ‘Chokher Araley’ in 2010.
